The online programmes offered by OBS are unique in several ways:
- Course Structure – The entire course structure designed by OBS is quite relevant for the current generation of students. Apart from the subject papers, the course equips the students in various soft skills, communication skills and working knowledge of computers and their applications.
- Affordable Fees – The Institution has approved an affordable fee structure to ensure that students from across various strata of the society can enroll themselves thereby heralding true Social Inclusion.
- Assessments – The final assessment of the students shall be conducted using a mix of theoretical assessments, continuous assessments and practical assessments
Online programmes, Correspondence and regular Face-to-face degrees/programmes from accredited Universities offer instructions in the areas where the student has enrolled for. However, in regular face-to-face programmes, one has to attend physical classes and follow a time-table. The Correspondence programme, on the other hand, provides students with study material to learn at their own convenience but the process comes with limited academic interactivity. Whereas in Online programmes, the student gets an opportunity to view videos, take assignments at anytime, anywhere from a device of his convenience. Online programmes are best suited to meet the needs of students who prefer flexibility, quality, affordability and high interactivity.
